The press conference took place on July 17 and was a great success. The excitement was in the air as the participants went up to present their projects armed with their txapelas in front of the flashes of all the media.
And that only means one thing: F2P Campus Takes Off!
The campus will be held in Vitoria from July 17 to September 17 to take 6 teams of video game developers to boost the promotion and development of new ideas in the field of gaming and video games.
F2P Campus is the result of an initiative launched by the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Alava, and Euneiz University and coordinated by Bic Araba.
Its goal is to boost the city’s innovative strength, the creative potential of its citizens, and the most outstanding and visionary talent in such an important industry as that of video games, with a single goal:
TO TAKE THE CITY TO THE NEXT LEVEL ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE.
It is time to show the world that the economy of the new generation, the video game industry, and gaming now have a capital: VITORIA GASTEIZ.
F2P CAMPUS is a transformative action full of initiatives that focuses on one of the most powerful drivers of the future, fully conscious of the fact that to boost our innovation, technology, and industrial vision only one thing is necessary: TO JOIN THE GAME.

The official location for the 4th edition of F2P Campus Vitoria-Gasteiz is the Euneiz University campus.
F2P Gamers will have the accreditation to move freely around the whole place during the day.
This space is located next to one of the main parks of the city’s Green Ring, and next to its main sports facility, Fernando Buesa Arena. It provides different work areas and a spacious auditorium.

Accommodation for all participants will be at Salburua Aparthotel, a complex located 15 minutes away from the campus’s central location.
Each apartment has a living/dining room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, an outdoor terrace, and a common garden area for all the guests.
There are parking slots and a tram stop at the entrance of the complex, providing a quick direct connection to the city center.

Each team will be able to access the Bakh Baskonia Sports Complex Facilities.
The space provides outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a spa, a gym, multiple sports areas, and even an ice rink.
The area is located right next to the park and Salburua Park, right next to the F2P Campus building, which is also a 15-minute walk from the apartments.
And if that wasn’t enough, they will be able to enjoy weekly Public Talks with international experts in the sector, special workshops to learn how to boost their projects, fun activities around the city, parties, pintxopote, and above all, fun while developing apps!
