July 4, 2022

On June 30 and July 1 the F2P Campus program, Games Academy, which is open to the public, will begin at in Amurrio. Organized by the F2P Campus, and in collaboration with Amurrio Bidean and BIC Araba, two workshops have been organized for the second year to teach participants, without any previous knowledge, how to make videogames. The workshops are aimed at young people from 14 years of age, and will be held on June 30 and July 1 at the Refor facilities.Β

The aim is simply to promote the videogame industry in the Basque Country and generate new vocations among the youngest citizens. The workshops will provide an easy and straightforward approach to the world of videogame development. The participants will be able to create their first levels, mechanics and menus using very visual tools and thus have an introduction to the industry, making a videogame from scratch. The workshops are free, but advance registration is required at Amurrio Bidean. Any query can be made by contacting 945891721. The workshop on June 1 will be a more advanced level, and participants must have previously passed the introductory workshop, either this year or last.
